Not a problem: The amount of radiation used in a thyroid scan is small and not enough to affect you and your chances of getting pregnant. Also if you have multiple thyroid nodules which are less than 1 cm in diameter there is no reason to be worried about thyroid cancer and probably no reason to get a thyroid scan

It doesn't...: The Radioactive Iodine thyroid uptake test will not make you infertile. Make sure you tell your doctor that you are trying to get pregnant. Best wishes!
