My uptake scan revealed thyroid nodules. what can i do?

Hot nodules?: Hi. We need more information. I assume you're hyperthyroid and that's why the uptakes and scan were done. Scans can reveal "hot nodules" in an otherwise "cold" thyroid gland, indicative of autonomously hyper functioning nodule(s), or it can real "cold nodules" in an otherwise diffusely "hot" thyroid gland, indicative of a cold nodule in a Graves' gland. Were 6 and 24 hour uptakes normal or high?
