Prednisolone effect: Prednisolone causes rise in BP. Hopefully that medication can be taperd off soon to bring down the BP. Pl make sure you and her make frequent visits to her doctor to monitor her medications and treatment. Read about side effects and provide needed feedback to the doctor to make adjustments in her treatment regimen. Moms are very precious and I am happy that u are taking good care of her:)

What is diagnosis?: What illness is being treated? Rheumatoid Arthritis? Prednisone could increase the blood pressure but she needs more intensive blood pressure therapy. We need more information as to the remainder of her health issues, her kidney function, her age etc.
