Take a couple days o: If you are new to weight lifting, it takes some time to develop strong muscles, so you have to go slow and build them gradually. You may rest for 3-4 days and then start lifting again. If the muscles are too weak to lift close to your previous amounts lifted, you should go to your doctor and get him/her to do a neurological examination to make sure that your muscles are healthy and strong.
