Cervical radiculopathy: You could have a pinched nerve in the neck which is affecting nerve impulses to the muscle, and subsequent weakness in the affected arm. There are also other reasons that could cause weakness in the arm. Either way you need to be seen by an orthopedic spinal specialist and get a formal work up.
