A member asked:

What scan can look at the cremaster muscle covering the testicles effectively?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Options: One of the best options to evaluate the scrotum is a basic physical exam. As far as imaging tests, ultrasound is most common, but MRI and CT scan have also been used. Any abnormality of the scrotum or testes (especially associated with pain) could be a medical emergency or signs of cancer, so seek medical care immediately if you have noticed a change in your scrotum.
