Left rib pain: Intermittent pain may be gas ( gas-x) , constipation-try Milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) may be gastritis(try ranitidine /prevecid), costochondritis- ( NSAIDS if no allergy ). Rarely I have seen it with vagintis (mycoplasma, ureoplasma. BV) Rarely at age 41 may be more serious ovary or colon issue (polyp) would check ovary/ colon( colongard or if family history colonoscopy ). f/U with do
