There are several: ...causes of vaginitis in women your age. Treatment depends on the cause. OTC vaginitis test kits have limited usefulness b/c they're not particular accurate and only one type (yeast) has an OTC treatment. Simple...: Get examined to know what kind of vaginitis you have........Fungal, Bacterial-Gonococcal, inflammatory,then appropriate treatment helps. Until that ...no sex/douching/tub bath/tampon.
