I've been having very painful throbbing headaches in my temples a few times a day for the past couple weeks. i dont usually have any headaches at all.

Migraine : New onset throbbing headache with no hx of headaches in the past is concerning. Typically migraines have throbbing headche with nausea, vomiting, light and noise sensitivity and typically has someone in the family with migraine headache. If you don't have typical symptoms or family hx, would highly recommend seeing a neurologist to rule out other serious causes.
