Rule out infection: With foul smelling green discharge you need to rule out an infection .If you are sexually active then need to rule out STD as well.Only way you can find out is by having an exam and taking culture of the discharge to treat it appropriately.Rarely it can be due to a foreign body in vagina causing these symptoms .We can not tell you without a detailed history and Physical exam and culture of dischar
