Why for a while?: Why not stop growing forever? You didn't list your age but it's not like you can turn a switch off to stop growing & then later on turn it back on to start growing when it's convenient to you. Check ou http://www.who.int/childgrowth/standards/height_for_age/en/ to determine how you compare to girls your age. We only worry if you're excessively tall. Regardless, see your FamilyDoc or Pediatrician.
