Can i take 25mg of zoloft (sertraline) twice daily ? when i take 50mg at once i get horrible side effects

Dividing the dose to Zoloft (sertraline) 25 mg twice daily is fine. Try to take consistently at the same time each day. Be sure to discuss with prescribing doctor.

You can divide up the dose just fine. Be sure to let your MD know that you are sensitive to side effects so They can be sure to increase at small increments so as to cause you the least side effects possible.
