Not sure exactly: what you mean by "wide." It is common for nose shapes and sizes to vary, depending on genetic influences. There are some disorders that may cause a certain nasal shape or size also. Certainly, if the shape or size is abnormal, your child's doctor should be able to tell. It is hard here without seeing his/her nose and other family members.
