A non-problem: If you have "trace" proteinuria showing on urinalysis, it means nothing though we report it. If you were bad-sick and had +1 proteinuria and it went away, it's nothing to worry about. If you have proteinuria after standing for a while but it's not in your first-voided morning specimen, it's orthostatic proteinuria and a non-problem. Other proteinuria is problematic.
