Family intervention.: "They" used to say that an addict had to want treatment for success in getting off drugs. We know now that a family intervention with the help of a qualified addiction specialist can be very successful in getting treatment started. This may not be paid for by insurance & be expensive but there are some outstanding programs, inc. Betty Ford Clinic who now people who can help. Ask PCP for area help.
