Why is dr using tobramycin dexameth to treat hypotony in my eye. no other drops used in yhat eye. trab over 14 years ago. press: 4-5 in that eye.

Possible infection: An occasional problem in the outflow bleb from a trabeculectomy is infection. The tobra/dex drop would be helpful for that. It is not used for hypotony. Perhaps your ophthalmologist (you are not seeing an optometrist for this I hope) wants to sterilize the area for an invasive procedure to increase the pressure. Best to ask what is happening.
