I know this for: males, but not necessarily for females. Study on males with muscle build up showed a 50% decline in muscle that was built up with 6 months of slacking ONLY IF MIDDLE AGED or older, not in teens/twenties. See "Schwarzenegger, Arnold".

The Sagging Truth.: Unfortunately, I think, we live in an environment that is influenced greatly by gravity. And because of that fact, all things will eventually start to show signs of sagging. Go figure.
