Monitor needed: I feel that it's important to document what your heart is doing during these symptoms and if an EKG isn't helpful, then a heart monitor can be put on you as an outpatient and can be worn for days until it records your heart rhythm during your symptoms. Discuss this with your physician who can order the monitor. If needed other tests can look for heart or thyroid disorders or reactive hypoglycemia.
