Bile: There is such a condition as bile reflux as opposed to acid reflux and this may be what you're describing. It is difficult to diagnose and treat, and since you are quite distressed about your symptom, I recommend that you consult a gastroenterologist for evaluation and treatment.

You need a right: upper quadrant ultrasound to rule out gallbladder disease. But more likely it is coming from your stomach, which would denote a bezoar or diverticulum (Meckel's for example), or indigestion also from gallbladder disease or gas producing bacterial overgrowth. If your ultrasound is negative, most likely you will need to see a GI specialist to rule out other things.
