Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): Is an antibiotic, not an antipyretic, she most probably has a viral illness, not taking enough or needs another medicine, we don't have any more information, kindly take her back to her doctor

Diesel vs gasoline: Diesel fuel won't run a gasoline or electric engine car. Likewise, unless we choose the right antibiotic, we won't cure the infection. For instance, common colds are due to viruses which aren't affected by antibiotics. So if infection/fever persists, return to prescribing doc for further evaluation or see your FamilyDoc.
