Risk very very small: There is no scientific evidence that vaginal ultrasounds cause "early miscarriages". Advise your friend to consult a knowledgeable Ob geneticist and / or a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology - Infertility who can help her understand the challenges and possible causes of early pregnancy losses.
