Skin tag: seems likely. It is connected to your body by a stalk (the string) and that has some pain nerves. Not dangerous, some people even just snip them off.

It is PROBABLY: a harmless verrucae (wart like) skin tag..... Check with your Primary Care Provider who can remove painlessly! Hope this helps! Dr Z BTW Would not advise removing yourself since some may have blood supply!
