How is your liver?: The reason to avoid alcohol is because terbinifine is tough on your liver. Has your doctor been monitoring your liver function? Is that why he stopped it? Terbinifine takes weeks to completely clear your system because it is stored in fat cells and slowly released. If your liver tests were abnormal at any point, it's worth the wait.
