preserved lv heart function, slight thickening of muscle. 65 yo female 2 heart, 1 kidney failure last month (cr 1.4 before fail). uti developed but hospital did not give ab. test e.coli? dehydrated and hgb drops on lasix (9.4)what is causing the chf?

Need more info: Lasix (furosemide) doesn't cause anemia-there is another cause. To know the cause of CHF, must know condition of the valves, diastolic function (determined by echo) and whether there is evidence of ischemia (determined by stress testing and/or heart cath). Need more information!
