You don't need to.: You do not need to stop your bleeding to have a urine test done. Just make sure they know that you are still on your period. A couple of ways to decrease the chance that the blood contaminates your sample is to wear a tampon and to make sure you follow the directions for using the clean wipe, pee a little into the toilet first, and then catch urine in the cup.
