Not specifically: The pap is a simple test that can detect changes triggered by HPV, one of the most common STI's but a blood test for antibodies is more specific. Some docs will test for sti's at the same time a pap is done, but may not have if s/he just did the pap.

Pap smear: A pap smear looks for precursor cells of cervical cancer. Many cervical cancers are associated with HPV infection but a pap smear generally is not considered a test to look for STD's.
