Stool: Usually blood in the stool is caused by hemorrhoids, an anal fissure, hard stool or chronic constipation. However, there are other less common reasons for this symptom to exist. Best bet is to see your doctor (or gastroenterologist if indicated) for an evaluation and a complete exam. That way, a treatment plan can be tailored for you. Hope that helps!
