A member asked:

Hard painless lump under skin on thigh. no pain, circular, large (lil bigger than a nickle), no discoloration/head/ripple/visual deformity, see a doc?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If it is soft,: mobile fluctuant or slightly dense, and does not hurt then it's most likely a lipoma. If you decide to have a healthcare professional look at it, that should confirm it. Of course there are other bad things that could cause a well defined lump on bone or under skin. Thanks for using HealthTap.
