Probably not related: However if you are potential blood thinning medications such as nsaids, you may be experiencing prolonged bleeding. As a side note and completely anecdotal observation, many of my patients do report interruptions in their normal cycle associated with the stress of surgery. If this persists more than one cycle, speak with your gynecologist.

Probably not hernia: It doesn't sound like it is related to the hernia repair, but you should call your surgeon first. May send you to a gynecologist.
