Throat hurts: You probably have pharyngitis which commonly is viral but strep throat may cause same symptoms.

Consult doctor: These symptoms indicate infection in throat which can be caused by bacteria or virus . Consulting doctor for examination and throat swab would be suggested. Pain relief and warm saline gargles can be tried for symptomatic relief .
