Sore throat: Two things come to my mind when patients complain of a sore throat without other symptoms, post nasal drip and early viral infections. Either way, you can try an allergy pill or the new nasal steroid over the counter: nasal cort. I prefer the nasal steroid. Either way if this does not work in the next few days, try some Motrin for the pain and gargle with salt water. See my other answers on st.
