Try this: Dryness causes constipation, not the reverse. 2 things prevent constipation in the normal human, adequate fiber (fruits and grains) and adequate hydration (water). This is why grandmas love prune juice. There is no danger to constipation and no danger to moderate use of remedies such as enemas or suppositories. If frequently constipated despite trying the above see a doctor! Stay healthy!

Constipation: Constipation does not cause mouth dryness, but a bloating sensation is very common. It is uncomfortable but usually not dangerous. If there has been no bowel movement after several days please contact your doctor.
