Virus and cancers: There are a lot of different viruses known. Only a few of them linked to devlopment of cancer such as hpv to cervical cancer/head and neck cancer, ebv to hodgkin's lymphoma, nasopharyngeal ca; HIV to kaposi sarcoma, etc. Yes, htlv-1 virus is related to adult t cell leukemia/lymphoma, ebv is also associated with burkitt's lymphoma, hepatitis b and c can cause liver cancer.

Here's a list: Hepatitis b and c and human papilloma virus are the most important, htlv-i less common. Epstein-barr causes african burkitt's; it and and kaposi virus (herpes 8) produce polyclonal lesions in immunocompromised folks that unlike other cancers are prone to regress with restored immunity. There are a host of lab viruses that cause cancer though how important they are clinically is unclear.
