Metallic taste: Sometimes when you have post nasal drip or sinus drainge, tooth infection, reflux you can get a metallic taste , rarely medical conditions, DM, thyroid kidney, dry mouth syndromes, Zinc ,B12 def ,chromates, medications, food allergies or pregnancy. Try Zyrtec ( antihistamine), and prevecid an antireflux med and see if helps . Check glucose. TSH May need antibiotics if sinusitis. f/u w/ doc

Requires exam: This may be a form of pharyngitis or post nasal drip. You should be examined to rule out any serious infection.
