No need, no risk: If your doctor thought you were at risk and might have HCV, I'm sure she would have done an RNA test. And it sounds like you're not at risk. Contrarly to popular beliefs and some online claims, HCV is not a proved STD except by traumatic (bloody) anal practices in gay men. Frequency of infection is no higher in heterosexual partners of people with HCV, and no higher if 100 vs 3 lifetime partners.
