Unfortunately no.: Alzheimer's is a very complicated multifactorial disease that seems yo have a number of contributing factors that result in its onset. There is no specific test at this time, however, giving your doctor a very detailed longitudinal history of your symptoms and history as well as speaking with family members and friends who know you best may help come to this dx. Rule out other conditions first!

In the many patients I have evaluated for cognitive decline in my career, I wanted as much information as possible before committing to an official diagnosis. Brain MRI, EEG, blood work to rule out other causes for dementia like B12 loss, hypothyroidism, and STDs. Genetic testing with certain bioassays can be ordered now, and as well neuropsychological testing. Neurology evaluation is needed
