Controversial : Good sleep hygiene, the set of routines we perform to ensure a good night's sleep, recommends a dark, cool, quit room. If one did have music playing, the brain would attempt to attenuate or ignore it. Theoretically that would require more energy and activity in the brain thus the quality of sleep could be compromised. Learn to sleep without the music and see what feels the best. Pleasant dreams.
