Tell them.: Tell them to explain better. Do not take her home until some one tells you what you need to know to feel comfortable with their plan. There job is to give you the tools you need to be able to care for her safely and give you instructions that include signs that should be watched for that indicate that being at home may no longer be a good idea. Be polite, but insist on an plan that reassures you.

Not specifically: The single level of 14K on a white count is not enough information to know if the issue is minor or not.It is not particularly high, and could reflect a stress reaction to any stress that took you to the ER. Proper evaluation and treatment requires a history and exam. With that in hand, they are more likely to make a proper assessment. Discuss this with the doc/staff.
