Yes colonoscopy is: a bit scary, but the worst part of the colonoscopy really is the prep the day/night before. It cleanses your intestines but it also makes you stay on the toilet for a whole night like having massive diarrhea (which is what you are trying to do to yourself so the doctor can see the next day). Other than that, the procedure itself is not bad once they give you the sedative so you don't care much..
