A member asked:

I know i should probably get a papsmear but i'm so afraid to, what should i expect and will it hurt?

New Guidelines: New Guidelines for your age call for pap smears no more than once every 3 years. It's quite understandable you feel anxious about this sort of test. But with an experienced doctor doing this test it's generally, quick, minimally uncomfortable, and likely not as bad as you think it could be once it's over. Well worth the "inconvenience."
