Air leak: Air leak is very common with CPAP use. Try adjusting and fitting with a little manipulation at the bridge of the nose and try hitting the ramp button or simply turn the machine off and on. I see that you have tried tightening the straps already.

Mgt: Masks that are a little softer and more malleable allow the mask to form fit to the face. I would suggest asking your PCP to order one from a local supplier. In the meantime, the mask that you have can be adjusted as best you can.
