Essential tremor!: First, make sure that that is the cause of your tremor with a thorough evaluation. Then, your doc may prescribe meds that can help with this. Get checked! Essential tremor is more likely, if it runs in your family, but other diseases that are serious and cause tremor, also run in families. So be sure you find out the cause. Caffeine, stress, fatigue, overexertion will make tremor worse.
