A friend is getting married today, and wants me to wear a girdle because i am 28 weeks pregnant. is it safe for the baby at this stage?

Just say NO: I can't speak to the safety of the girdle. What I'd like to speak to is giving yourself permission to say NO. Your body is changing, as it should during pregnancy. Lack of support and judgment about your shape is not appropriate or acceptable.

No Girdle: A girdle is not a wise idea at this stage of pregnancy. Best to attend the wedding proud of being "heavy with child." Congratulations on your pregnancy. As a side note, you will have a special glow about you that you can't hide either. Best of luck with your new bundle of joy!!
