Pimple?: Due to the limited space in the ear canal and sensitivity of the skin on the outer ear, minor issues can cause a lot of pain. Should get it checked to see if can relieve pain and if additional treatment needed (your dr / urgent care).

Pimples: The bump is the cause of the pain. Why is there a bump ? Oil, dirt sweat, sebum can fill breaks in the skin leading to your " bump". Topicsl Hydrocortisone can decrease the inflammation.
