I believe you are: taking too much vitamin D3. For general purposes, including osteoporosis prevention, doses of 1000-1500 IU daily are usually recommended. Even though your reading is "high normal", it could still be contributing to your higher serum calcium level. Prefer to get calcium from the diet rather than through supplements. Review with your doctor. Stay well:)
