Be like in nature!: In nature, does the baby breastfeed first, or does the milk come in first? The answer is: the baby feeds at birth, right away on the Mom's breasts, but the milk comes in later, after 2 days. The baby does NOT wait 2 days with nothing to suck on, until Mom's milk comes. Also, Mom's milk comes BECAUSE her baby is sucking on her breasts every 2-3 hours. it helps to pump now and breastfeed now.
