A member asked:

Using metrogel is it normal for clumps of discharge to come out along with what looks like tiny specks of blood? are the clumps yeasts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Why are you: using Metrogel? Was that prescribed to you for bacterial vaginosis? Yeast-y clumps are usually whitish, thick cottage cheese like, but not always. More vaginal discharge after treated with Metrogel for at least 3-4 days is a sign that there is other infection involved. Please get to a family or GYN specialist for diagnosis and treatment.
