Hello, i've been having severe lower abdominal pain all day. i can't sit nor standup straight. i have diarrhea that is yellow with mucous.

Colitis: This may be due to a viral intestinal infection in view of the diarrhea with mucus but the Pain is unusually severe for that. If severe lower abdominal discomfort persists and especially if there is tenderness with it, you should be evaluated by a physician now. Otherwise, avoid harsh roughage and take kaopectate and Tylenol (acetaminophen) Drink room temperature fluids in adequate amounts. Call your MD in the AM
