I have been on my period for a little over a month now. it started off heavy and now is light. i was passing blood clots and now small ones. ?

DUB: It sounds like dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) which often results from hormonal imbalances during the menstrual cycle. Irregular or persistent bleeding with clots is typical. DUB is treated by trying to regulate the hormones. You don't mention contraception, but DUB is often treated by birth control pills for ongoing regulation of hormones. Pregnancy should be excluded. See your doctor.
