BP and exercise: BP GOes UP with exercise as your heart rate increases and the amount of blood your heart pumps with each beat increases. Remember BP = blood pumped out X how fast it flows out of your aorta. Or BP = cardiac output X peripheral resistance. PR = length of you blood vessels X radius of blood vessels to 4th power. After exercise blood vessels dilate and per formula BP falls. Simply matter of physics
